This engagement session with Crystal and Ryan was so enjoyable.  They are a beautiful couple and I am truly looking forward to providing their wedding photography in October.  

For this engagement session, we met in Peoria Heights.  We shot these photographs between my studio, Grand View Drive, and Tower Park.  The most essential element in engagement photography is the relationship between the couple and their level of comfort in showing affection to each other.  It can take a little time for people to forget about me and just engage each other, but this is always my goal.  I want to capture the relationship which can only happen when I am secondary to what is happening between them.

Sarah and Josh will wed in October.  We met at my studio in Peoria Heights for this engagement session.  Although it was a rainy morning, the covered areas outside my studio enabled us to combine indoor and outdoor photography.

I met with Matt in early April for a senior portrait session.  He is a senior at the local university.  He asked if I would mind doing a couple shots of him with his girlfriend.  I didn't mind at all.  In fact, I decided that Matt looked happiest when he was with Michelle so those quickly became my favorite images.  Being with her just made him relaxed and truly happy.  They started by doing Tae Kwon Do together (Michelle is a black belt :) and then they went for a walk in the park.  I just love these images.
